Roles And Responsibilities

• Feedstock material inspection to ensure quality specifications
• Calibration of measuring equipment (checking measuring equipment, i.e. tape measures, each day prior to using it in the course of a shift)
• Part inspection to ensure quality specifications
• Basic machine maintenance, including assisting maintenance personnel during breakdowns
• Able and willing to effectively train others on machines, work cell, or other business functions as required
• Pulling and staging feedstock for production orders
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of experience as a skilled Cut to Length machine operator preferred
• Successfully pass a skills-based assessment - evaluates your reading, math, inspections & measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Successful candidates will be enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program as part of their onboarding

Pay

Salary: $24.94 hourly. A starting salary higher than $24.94 hourly is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
