Customs Compliance Manager*

We are seeking a Customs Compliance Manager for our customs team in a part-time capacity (approx. 20 hours/week).

Responsibilities

• Ensure customs compliance and an economical, smooth, and legally secure supply chain process
• Internal point of contact and advisor for customs and foreign trade law, tariff classification, preference and origin law, and export control law
• Interface management between customs processes and internal process stakeholders
• Monitoring, adaptation, and expansion of existing customs authorizations (ZA, EA, REX, ZE, AEO) and their internal company processes
• Expert communication with external partners and authorities (customs, HZA, chambers of commerce, veterinary offices, embassies, etc.)
• Monitoring of preference calculations

Qualifications

• Completed commercial degree, vocational training, or comparable qualification
• Strong SAP skills in modules SD, LE, MM, and GTS
• Experience in customs is an advantage
• Knowledge of customs and foreign trade law desirable
• High affinity for digital processes
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Diplomatic, dynamic, and systematic working style, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
