About the role

Responsibilities
- Prepare and process customs entries accurately and on time
- Review and audit commercial documents; identify and resolve discrepancies
- Apply correct HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) codes for duty assessment
- Communicate documentation needs with customers and foreign origins
- Cookier freight forwarding and delivery with domestic and international carriers
- Submit customs entries via GBS-CM in a timely manner
- Scan and upload documentation into internal imaging systems
- Prepare reports, presentations, and database-driven analyses
- Maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive, clear communication
- Support weekend or holiday work on a rotational basis, as needed
Requirements
- A high school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
- A basic understanding of U.S. customs operations, regulations, and government agencies
- Familiarity with HTS codes or tariff classification (preferred but not required)
- Strong computer skills and comfort with data entry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve documentation issues
