Customized Living Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Customized Living Assistant to provide personalized home care services to individuals who require support in their own homes in an apartment building in Fergus Falls. This role is ideal for someone who values independence, has strong interpersonal skills, and is committed to helping clients live safely and comfortably at home.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help clients manage medication schedules
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Ensure clients’ safety and security
• Document client progress and communicate with family members and healthcare providers as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Minnesota driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check
• Experience in home health care or related field preferred

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Skills

• Basic computer skills
• First aid and CPR certification (preferred)
