About Us

At Brightview Senior Living, our Vibrant Living Assistants play a key role in helping our residents live an active, vibrant life. While other organizations may call this role an Activities Assistant, we believe it deserves the special title of Vibrant Living Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Get to know the residents of Brightview to help with planning and implementing spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming that engages and fulfills them.
• Promote and communicate upcoming community events and activities.
• Participate in activities such as games, painting, singing, and music by organizing and running these events.
• Utilize social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily fun activities.
• Occasionally drive the company vehicle (if 21 or over) to transport residents to and from events.
• Help set up and break down events and activities.

Requirements

• Ability to quickly connect with people and learn about them.
• Use talents such as singing, dancing, art, poetry, history, or trivia to enhance activities.
• Exercise creativity with no limits.
• Possess a positive attitude and high energy.
• Hold an active Driver’s license in good standing.

Relevant experience includes Healthcare, Hospitality, Activities, Activity Assistant, Event Planning, Life Enrichment, Programming Assistant, or Recreation.

Pay

Salary range: USD $17.50 - USD $20.25 per hour. The range reflects potential pay and does not include bonuses or additional incentives. Offers consider factors like experience, qualifications, location, community size, certifications, and training. Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.
