Customized Community Support Coordinator

About the role

The Customized Community Supports Coordinator oversees daily operations to ensure high-quality services are delivered to people supported. This role provides supervision, coaching, and mentorship to In Home Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), modeling person-centered practices and fostering an environment of mutual respect and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and mentor In Home Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
• Model person-centered practices and foster an environment of mutual respect and teamwork
• Ensure each person supported has opportunities to grow, learn, and engage within their community while maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Manage program budget, balance worked and billed hours, support team member relations, and coordinate training to promote an Alive Workplace and achieve organizational goals

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school degree or GED with experience working with the vulnerable populations
• Working knowledge of Minnesota Statutes
• Training in basic supervisory skills, team building, challenging behaviors and leadership (preferred)
• Experience in a supervisory capacity (preferred)
• Background Study (BGS) clearance required
• Driver’s license required
• Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record required
• CPR certificate (when required), First Aid and Medication Administration training (can be obtained after hire)
