Customer Vehicle Service Agent (Brooklyn)

About the role

As a Customer Vehicle Service Agent at SIXT you will ensure every vehicle is spotless and rental‑ready, inspect incoming cars for damage, manage service alerts, keep the lot organized, assist customers with returns and inquiries, and shuttle vehicles between locations. The position offers numerous development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Clean, polish, and perform basic maintenance checks (fluid levels, tire pressure) on all vehicles.
• Inspect incoming vehicles for damage, document findings, and coordinate repairs.
• Organize the lot for smooth traffic flow, tag vehicles for maintenance, and move cars to proper locations efficiently.
• Welcome customers, check vehicles for personal belongings, and answer questions about returns, charges, or additional services.
• Shuttle cars between locations, dealerships, and car washes to keep the fleet ready for the next rental.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in vehicle service or a related field (car rental, automotive maintenance, or dealership services preferred).
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Skills

• Strong verbal communication for interacting with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Excellent attention to detail for checking damage, verifying fuel levels, and accurately documenting vehicle condition.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and physically move in and out of vehicles throughout the shift.
• Willingness to wear a company uniform; additional language skills are a plus.

Pay

Hourly rate: $24.50.

Schedule

Full‑time, 40 hours per week with day or evening shifts. Outdoor work required.
