Customer Technical Project Manager - Cumming, GA
Responsibilities
- Cook up deployment activities with distribution partners, installers, and prime contractors.
- Support hardware and software implementation, including meter devices and communications.
- Aid with system integrations (HES, MDMS, utility platforms) and integration testing (SIT/UAT).
- Offer technical support and troubleshooting for device, connectivity, and data issues.
- Support radio licensing and communications setup.
- Travel to customer sites for kickoffs, pilots, training, and issue resolution.
- Deliver technical training to partners and customer teams.
- Monitor deployment progress and escalate risks or issues as needed.
- Ensure alignment with prime contractor timelines and program requirements.
Requirements
2-5+ years in technical project management, utilities, or project deployments.
Experience with field deployments and CIS integrations.
Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder coordination skills.
Willingness to travel 25%.
Successful meter activation and integration.
Effective partner execution and training.
Timely issue resolution and deployment progress.
High customer and partner satisfaction.
