Customer Support Specialist

This role is 100% onsite in Flowood, MS. There is no remote capacity.

About the role

The Customer Support Specialist (CSS) is accountable for providing quality service to customers seeking direction, information, or assistance by conducting effective research on matters related to myBlue, pharmacy, enrollment, billing, benefits, and claims inquiries to ensure first call resolution is achieved. This position is responsible for ensuring a connection is made with each customer interaction to assist the customer with their initial concern and provide information tailored to their individual healthcare needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality service to customers seeking direction, information, or assistance.
• Conduct effective research on matters related to myBlue, pharmacy, enrollment, billing, benefits, and claims inquiries.
• Ensure first call resolution is achieved.
• Create a connection with each customer interaction to address their initial concern.
• Provide information tailored to individual healthcare needs.

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least a 3.0 GPA.
• Must have proficient computer skills and be able to successfully complete all levels of the call center training program.
• Excellent active listening skills to clearly understand members’ issues.
• Must possess excellent communication skills to ensure a professional company image is projected at all times.
