Customer Support Specialist (48221)

What You'll Do

• Customer Sales & Support (approx. 80%): Manage and route a high volume of inbound calls serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking conveyor systems, material handling products, and automation solutions.
• Partner with customers via phone and email to understand their application needs and identify the best product solutions.
• Prepare and support customer quotations accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process returns and resolves order-related issues promptly and professionally.
• Support order entry, online order processing, and shipment coordination from start to finish.
• Quickly build and maintain strong product knowledge across Ultimation's full lineup.

E-Commerce & Process Support (approx. 20%)

• Support ongoing e-commerce growth initiatives contributing to one of the leading direct-to-customer conveyor platforms in the U.S.
• Affiliate with process improvements that drive efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction across the sales and order management workflow.
• Perform general administrative support tasks as needed to keep the team running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must Have: 2+ years of customer service and/or inside sales experience, handling volume and knowing how to stay organized under pressure. Strong customer service mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a professional phone presence. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing accuracy. Self-motivated, team-oriented, and quick to learn new products and processes. High school diploma or equivalent.
• Nice To Have: Experience with ERP systems, particularly Epicor Prophet 21 (P21). Familiarity with HubSpot CRM or GoTo phone application. Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial products experience. Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
