Customer Support Representative
Location: Remote – United States
Job Type: Full Time
Pay
$38,000–$48,000 per year
About the role
Nexus Pro Design is seeking a Customer Support Representative to assist with timely customer communication, issue documentation, account support, and appropriate escalation. The work requires a practical, detail‑oriented approach and reliable communication across a distributed team. Work will be organized around defined priorities and documented procedures. When a record, request, or result does not match expectations, the correct response is to verify the available information, note the difference, and use the appropriate escalation path rather than forcing a conclusion. You will use common digital workplace tools to organize assignments, maintain documentation, and collaborate with others. Procedures may evolve over time, so part of the role is learning updated requirements and applying them consistently once they are approved.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide clear next steps and realistic expectations when immediate resolution is not available.
- Update account details when authorized and verify changes before closing the interaction.
- Use knowledge resources and team guidance to keep responses accurate and consistent.
- Identify recurring customer questions and share patterns that may improve support documentation.
- Respond to assigned customer inquiries through approved phone, email, chat, or ticket channels.
- Document interactions, actions taken, and unresolved follow‑up needs in the appropriate system.
What We Are Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent experience appropriate to customer support.
- Ability to listen carefully, clarify needs, and document interactions accurately.
- Good judgment about when to resolve a routine issue and when to escalate.
- Attention to privacy and responsible handling of customer information.
- Willingness to learn products, policies, and support procedures.
- Strong performance means producing work that is accurate, traceable, and ready for the next person or process that depends on it.
