Responsibilities
- Understand and troubleshoot problems in software and electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) on assigned equipment, with guidance from managers or senior engineers.
- Develop technical proficiency in automation and various systems through ongoing training.
- Apply diagnostic techniques and service aids to resolve equipment issues.
- Provide 24/7 technical support to maintain customer manufacturing operations.
- Troubleshoot issues and failures in software and electronic systems.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree and 0 years of related work experience; or Master’s degree with 3 years of related work experience; or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related work experience.
- Basic proficiency in systems-level repair of a product within a family.
- Basic semiconductor industry process knowledge (KLA class for Introduction to Semiconductor Processes will be provided).
- Microsoft Office suite proficiency.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent timelines.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to understand customer needs.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of computer theory, various operating systems, and applicable software.
- Networking experience in Windows, Unix, or Novell environments.
- Basic automation functionality on assigned equipment set.
- Attainment of Certification Level 2 or PM Training.
- Experience on KLA-based systems.

Base Pay Range: $33.75 – $57.36 per hour
