About the role

Nicolet National Bank is seeking a Customer Support Associate to join our team. We are a community-focused bank with locations across multiple states, dedicated to serving our customers with excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls via the Call Center
  • Provide guidance to customers or determine the most appropriate bank contact
  • Offer excellent service to customers and colleagues by phone, including promoting and selling additional bank products and services
  • Assist customers with online and mobile banking, debit and credit cards, account inquiries, and transfers
  • Help internal customers with various network and software password resets and functionality
  • Maintain a positive attitude while promoting products, services, and functions in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment
  • Participate in self-development through meetings, committees, computer-based training, reading periodicals, maintaining product knowledge, etc.
  • Maintain and order department supplies and equipment
  • Uphold Nicolet's philosophy and policies by ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Show judgment, tact, and on-the-spot decision-making abilities
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and possess strong interpersonal skills

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Understanding of banking and related products and services typically gained through 1-3 years of experience in a bank customer service role
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good judgment, tact, and ability to make decisions quickly
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills

Pay

The pay for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The rotating schedule starts as early as 6:45am and goes as late as 6:00pm. These are 8-hour shifts that change weekly. This position will also have to work one Saturday every 3-4 weeks from 7:30am-12:00pm. This is an in-office job, remote work is not an option.
