Customer Support and Operations Coordinator
Location: Cary, NC • 12-month ongoing W2 contract • 40 hours per week
About the role
The Customer Support & Operations Coordinator provides administrative and operational support by managing customer and dealer inquiries, processing transactions, and maintaining workflow accuracy within CRM and SAP systems. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proactive follow-up, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional customer service and supporting departmental objectives.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage inbound customer and dealer inquiries through email, voicemail, and support ticketing systems.
- Assign tickets to appropriate team members and resolve assigned requests while maintaining established service level expectations.
- Process tax corrections accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate with customers and business partners via phone and email to resolve inquiries, provide updates, and ensure a positive service experience.
- Retrieve, distribute, and track purchase orders within CRM systems, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Support accounting and audit functions through administrative and transaction-processing activities.
- Assist with invoice cancellations, proforma invoice requests, tax corrections, customer account creation, and quote processing.
- Assign quotes to contracts within CRM systems and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
- Maintain organized records and ensure all transactions, requests, and activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational efficiency and department goals.
- Identify and escalate issues as needed while providing proactive updates to stakeholders.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or additional business-related coursework preferred.
- Experience in customer service, administrative support, operations, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience working with CRM systems preferred.
- SAP experience preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting accounting, auditing, or transactional business functions.
- Knowledge of order management, invoicing, customer account setup, or quote processing.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Experience working with customers, dealers, distributors, or external business partners.
- Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems and processes efficiently.
Work Environment
Fast-paced, customer-focused environment requiring frequent interaction with internal teams, customers, and business partners. Ability to manage shifting priorities while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness. Primarily office-based with regular use of computer systems, phone communication, and business applications.
Schedule
- On-site, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay
$25.71 per hour
