The Granicus Accounting team is a dynamic and high performing group that partners with both internal and external customers to drive success for the Company. We are looking for a motivated and effective leader to join our accounting team.

About the role

This position can be based in St. Paul, MN, Denver, CO, Washington, D.C. or Remote in the US or Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial operations for the Granicus Accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and payment processing.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and processes.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures, and provide guidance to team members on financial matters.
  • Work closely with the finance team to prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with financial software and systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Benefits

Pay Range: USD $60,600.00 - USD $73,000.00 /Yr.

Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program.
