About the role
The Forward Engineering Team at Candid is seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our dynamic and innovative team. This role will focus on developing cutting-edge solutions to streamline medical billing processes and improve overall efficiency in the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new billing solutions
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions
- Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements to existing systems
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in healthcare IT
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development or a related field
- Experience with healthcare IT systems and billing processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions
- Experience with agile methodologies and iterative development
- Knowledge of healthcare-specific regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#
- Familiarity with healthcare-specific software platforms like Epic, Cerner, or Allscripts
- Experience with database management and SQL
- Strong understanding of cloud computing and infrastructure services

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
