About the role
This position is located at Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, where you will be part of a close-knit team dedicated to serving customers and managing warehouse operations.Responsibilities
- Performs various customer service duties such as: waiting on customers, assisting customers in determining order requirements, answering customer inquiries, providing samples, providing direction/selection assistance, completing sales transactions, and accepting payments.
- Adds to the team by addressing and resolving customer complaints (returns and order errors).
- Handles various office administration tasks including processing payments and receipts, reconciling DSR’s and cash boxes, preparing bank deposits, balancing petty cash box, preparing performance reports, updating customer master files, and creating vendor orders.
- Executes product order duties such as entering customer orders, creating plant/RDC orders, and completing stock replenishment orders.
- Prepares daily sales reports.
- Carries out warehouse duties like pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor product, maintaining displays, moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conducting daily cycle counts.
- Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, processing stock material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
- Operates a crane/forklift.
- Maintains a clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash, restroom cleaning, and general office maintenance.
- Maintains a safe working environment by following safety rules and reporting accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience;
- 1+ years of customer service experience and warehouse experience;
- Crane/Forklift experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
