About the role

Dal-Tile is seeking an exceptional Customer Service/Warehouse Associate to join their team. This position involves supporting walk-in customers, completing sales transactions, and performing warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

• Waiting on customers and assisting with order requirements
• Providing samples, direction, and selection assistance
• Completing sales transactions and accepting payments
• Addressing and resolving customer complaints (returns and order errors)
• Processing payments and receipts, reconciling DSRs and cash box, preparing bank deposits, balancing petty cash box, and creating vendor orders
• Entering customer orders, creating plant/RDC orders, and completing stock replenishment orders
• Producing daily sales reports
• Pulling and assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy and completeness, conducting inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor product, maintaining displays, moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conducting daily cycle counts
• Receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims
• Operating forklift equipment
• Maintaining a clean and organized facility by sweeping, removing trash, cleaning, and performing general office maintenance
• Maintaining a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of customer service experience
• 3+ years of warehouse experience

Skills

• Ability to lift up to 15-30 lbs, and at certain times, up to 70 lbs.
