About the Role

The Processing/Verification Associate supports the operations team in two key ways: processing incoming invoices flagged with issues and making outbound inquiries against batches of invoices and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with client operating standards. They also handle administrative tasks such as data processing, new client funding, and other duties as agreed upon with the Operations Manager. Daily work is managed and coordinated under the direction of the Verification Team Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the asset quality of invoices purchased meets Credit standards established in the Factoring Group.
  • Verify that receivables meet the standards outlined in client operating procedures.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to data processing accurately and consistently with operations procedures.
  • Verify invoices via phone calls to debtors and website lookups where appropriate.
  • Clearly document new debtors, errors, missing documentation, debtors over credit limit, and other collateral-related issues on each batch of invoices.
  • Action and notify the Verifications Team Leader of any policy exceptions or material issues identified.
  • Share and implement best practices within the Factoring Operations Finance (FOF) team.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $17.80 - $21.50 per hour. Actual pay will vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
