About the role
Gerber Life Insurance is seeking an experienced Customer Service Supervisor to lead a team of customer service representatives in their inbound contact center.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of customer service professionals supporting Gerber Life Insurance products.
- Drive team performance through ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Monitor productivity, quality, compliance, and customer experience metrics.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and sensitive service situations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, continuous improvement, and employee development.
- Partner with leadership, compliance, legal, and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing team members.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience with a proven ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Strong coaching, communication, and performance management skills.
- Experience in a call center, contact center, financial services, or insurance environment preferred.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
