About the role

Gerber Life Insurance is seeking an experienced Customer Service Supervisor to lead a team of customer service representatives in their inbound contact center.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of customer service professionals supporting Gerber Life Insurance products.
  • Drive team performance through ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, compliance, and customer experience metrics.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns and sensitive service situations.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, continuous improvement, and employee development.
  • Partner with leadership, compliance, legal, and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing team members.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience with a proven ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Strong coaching, communication, and performance management skills.
  • Experience in a call center, contact center, financial services, or insurance environment preferred.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
