Customer Service Specialist II

What You'll Do

• Process customer orders received by phone, email, and other communication channels
• Enter and maintain accurate customer orders and electronic order files
• Provide quotations, pricing, and inventory availability for stock motors
• Monitor backorders and process them according to company procedures
• Verify shipments and provide customers with order status updates
• Process customer order changes and maintain shipping information
• Generate freight quotes and coordinate shipping logistics
• Support Accounts Receivable activities, including invoicing, credits, and RMA processing
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
• Maintain compliance with company quality, safety, and ISO 9001 standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 5+ years of customer service, order management, inside sales support, or related experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Typing speed of 45+ WPM
• 10-key by touch proficiency

Preferred Skills

• Experience using SAP or another ERP system is preferred
• Experience supporting industrial products or manufacturing operations
• Knowledge of order processing, shipping, freight coordination, and inventory management
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple departments
