CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST (CALL CENTER) – COLOR CREW, PART TIME

About the role

Madison Reed’s Customer Service Specialist is a member of our Color Crew. Our Color Crew team members strive to provide a quality experience to at-home customers, assisting with a variety of scenarios related to color choice, application, maintenance, and care. The Customer Service Specialist will utilize their knowledge to recommend Madison Reed products, serving as a subject matter expert. This is a part-time, remote position requiring a minimum of 24-28 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist and communicate with customers via phone, email, and virtual chat regarding billing, shipping, orders, accounts, memberships, product application, and website navigation.
• Address and resolve all customer inquiries in a pleasant and timely manner.
• Maintain integrity, flexibility, and composure as part of creating a “day maker” experience for customers.
• Use expertise as a licensed cosmetologist to identify issues and work toward resolution.
• Recommend Madison Reed products based on customer needs.
• Attend training classes to support ongoing learning and professional development.
• Weekend work may be required.

Requirements

• 1+ year of customer service or call center experience (preferred).
• Active Cosmetology License (1+ year); salon experience desired.
• Spanish-speaking skills strongly desired but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or other technical tools.
• Ability to type at least 25 WPM.
