In this important role, you'll assist individuals and families in accessing utility assistance programs, community resources, and support services that help improve their quality of life. Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and visitors with professionalism and courtesy
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and connect individuals with appropriate resources
• Assist customers with applications, eligibility screenings, and program enrollment
• Gather, verify, and accurately enter customer information into agency databases
• Educate customers about utility assistance programs and available community services
• Review and maintain customer records while ensuring confidentiality
• Process referrals, recertifications, and program documentation
• Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional customer support
• Help individuals navigate services that address essential household needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least one year of office or administrative experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience with data entry, databases, spreadsheets, and general computer applications
• Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple tasks

Pay

$18.09 per hour

Schedule

20 hours per week - flexible (5 days x 4 hours or 4 days x 5 hours); start time also flexible within regular office hours
