Customer Service Specialist

We are looking for a Customer Service Specialist to support daily operations for the warehouse in Hawaii. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, managing administrative duties, and keeping information organized in a fast-paced service environment. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for individuals seeking program information while providing dependable coordination and office support. Responsibilities:• Assist callers and visitors by answering questions about available programs and services in a thorough and helpful manner.• Coordinate and confirm pickup times and client appointments to support smooth day-to-day scheduling.• Enter and maintain accurate information in internal records and tracking systems.• Speak with clients to gather feedback and complete surveys in a respectful and organized way.• Support administrative activities tied to human services programs, including document handling and routine office tasks.• Communicate clearly by phone, email, and in writing with clients, staff, and community contacts.• Work closely with team members and partner programs to ensure responsive service for a diverse population. • Previous experience in customer service or a client-facing support role. • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized and attentive to detail. • Clear verbal and written communication skills, including effective phone and email etiquette. • Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for daily work. • Accurate data entry skills and the ability to maintain dependable records. • Experience scheduling appointments or coordinating service-related activities. • Ability to work effectively with people from varied backgrounds in a collaborative environment.
