Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the role

Property Managers work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside. The role involves assessing customer storage needs, selling packing and moving supplies, performing daily storage unit inspections, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and managing payment collections.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple self-storage locations by assessing customer needs and selling supplies
• Perform daily unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits
• Manage payment collections, including reminder and collection calls
• Transport, lift, and move items weighing up to 35 pounds
• Walk in and around facilities, spending up to 50% of time outdoors (climbing stairs, opening large doors)
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks (sweeping, mopping, maintaining exterior grounds)

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for travel between locations (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Ability to lift/move items up to 35 pounds
• Comfort working outdoors, including climbing stairs and opening large doors

Qualifications

Successful candidates come from customer service-centered sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies.

Pay

$14.50 per hour

Schedule

Flexible and full-time schedules between 9:30 AM and 6:00 PM (weekends until 5:00 PM).
