Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the role

Our Property Managers work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside. You’ll assess customer storage needs, make suggestions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Daily storage unit inspections confirm inventory and availability. You’ll audit cash drawers, make bank deposits, keep customers current with payments, and make reminder and collection calls when required.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies
• Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits
• Manage payment collections, reminder calls, and collections
• Transport, lift, and move items weighing up to 35 pounds
• Walk in and around facilities, spending up to 50% of time outdoors, including climbing stairs and opening large doors
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks: sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds and curb appeal

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle for travel between work locations (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Ability to lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds
• Comfort working outdoors up to 50% of the time, including climbing stairs and opening large doors

Qualifications

Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service-centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies.

Pay

$20.50 per hour

Schedule

• Flexible and full-time schedules between 9:30 AM and 6:00 PM (weekends until 5:00 PM)
• Eligible for full-time benefits by working an average of 20+ hours per week
