Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the role

Property Managers work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside. This role involves assessing customer storage needs, making suggestions, and selling packing and moving supplies.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily business operations
• Help keep customers current with payments, making reminder and collection calls when required
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds and curb appeal, keeping facilities clean and free of debris

Physical requirements

• Ability to transport, lift, and move items weighing up to 35 pounds
• Walk in and around facilities, spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments
• Climb stairs and open large doors

Qualifications

• Experience: Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service-centered sales environments, including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies
• Transportation: Employees are required to have a valid driver's license and utilize their own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business (mileage reimbursement is provided)

Pay

$17.00 per hour, with the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses.

Schedule

Flexible and full-time schedules between the hours of 9:30am and 6pm (weekends until 5pm).
