Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the role

Property Managers work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside the facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies
• Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability to make sure spaces are ready to rent
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily business
• Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping and mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds and curb appeal to keep facilities clean and free of debris

Physical requirements

• Ability to transport, lift, and move items weighing up to 35 pounds
• Able to walk in and around facilities, spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors

Qualifications

• Experience: Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service-centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies
• Transportation: Employees are required to have a valid driver's license and utilize their own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business (mileage reimbursement is provided)

Pay & schedule

• Earn $15.00 per hour
• Flexible and full-time schedules available between 9:30am and 6pm (weekends until 5pm)
• Performance-based bonuses available
