Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the role

Property Managers work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside facilities. This role involves customer service, sales, property maintenance, and daily operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies
• Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily business operations
• Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal to keep facilities clean and free of debris
• Walk in and around facilities, spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors
• Transport, lift, and move items weighing up to 35 pounds

Qualifications

• Experience: Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service-centered sales environments, including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies
• Transportation: Employees must have a valid driver's license and utilize their own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business (mileage reimbursement is available)

Pay

$17.00 per hour

Schedule

Flexible and full-time schedules between 9:30am and 6pm (weekends until 5pm)
