Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the role

Public Storage is hiring Property Managers to work independently across multiple locations, with time spent both inside and outside facilities. This role involves customer service, sales, daily operations, and property maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies
• Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily business operations
• Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping and mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds and curb appeal
• Walk in and around facilities, spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service-centered sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies
• Valid driver's license and access to personal vehicle for travel between work locations and work-related business (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Ability to transport, lift, and move items weighing up to 35 pounds

Pay & Schedule

• $15.00 per hour
• Flexible and full-time schedules between 9:30am and 6pm (weekends until 5pm)
