Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the role

Our Property Managers work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside. Daily responsibilities include assessing customer storage needs, selling packing and moving supplies, conducting storage unit inspections, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and assisting customers with payments and collections.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer storage needs and recommend appropriate solutions, including packing and moving supplies
• Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability
• Audit cash drawers and prepare bank deposits
• Help customers stay current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds and curb appeal

Physical Requirements

• Ability to transport and lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds
• Capable of walking around facilities and spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments
• Ability to climb stairs and open large doors

Qualifications

• Customer service experience from retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based environments
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for traveling between locations and conducting work-related tasks (mileage reimbursement provided)

Pay

$18.00 per hour

Schedule

Flexible and full-time schedules between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm (weekends until 5:00 pm)
