Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the role

Property Managers work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside the facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies
• Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily business operations
• Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds and curb appeal clean and free of debris
• Travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business using own vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)

Physical requirements

• Ability to transport, lift, or move items weighing up to 35 pounds
• Able to walk in and around facilities, spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments
• Ability to climb stairs and open large doors

Qualifications

• Experience: Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service-centered sales environments, including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies
• Transportation: Valid driver's license required; employees must utilize their own vehicle to travel between work locations and for work-related business

Pay

$16.50 per hour

Schedule

Flexible and full-time schedules between 9:30am and 6pm, with weekends until 5pm
