Customer Service & Sales Support Specialist

About the role

Vaco has partnered with a manufacturing and distribution company on the north west side of Indianapolis to hire a Customer Service Representative.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service via phone and email.
• Prepare customer quotations and process sales orders.
• Cookier customer shipments, freight, and shipping documentation.
• Maintain customer and order information in our ERP system.
• Aid with inventory transactions, purchasing support, and operational documentation.
• Work closely with Sales, Warehouse, and Operations to ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time.
• Support other departments as needed, including providing backup coverage during vacations and absences.
• Help identify opportunities to improve processes and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous customer service, order processing, logistics, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and business software (ERP experience is a plus).

Qualifications

• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• ERP system experience is a plus.

Pay

$50,000-$55,000 + annual bonus
