Customer Service / Sales Associate

About the role

A hybrid long-term contract opportunity in Cedar Rapids, IA for a Customer Service Representative role. The Customer Service Representative will provide world-class customer service for customers worldwide through exceptional responsiveness to customer inquiries, negotiating favorable terms, maintaining existing customers, and developing new relationships. This role requires on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely responses to customer request for quote via email, phone, or inventory listing portals.
• Liaise with peers and leadership to understand market pricing dynamics to capture sales.
• Achieve sales and capture rate targets as set by management.
• Validate customer purchase orders against standard and negotiated terms.
• Interact with the customer prior to and after the sale to develop and maintain positive partner relationships.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently with little instruction and are intrinsically motivated.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous sales/customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a customer service or sales role preferred.
