About the role

We are now hiring for the 2026 season as Retail & Guest Experience Associates. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys the energy of Maine's coast, loves helping travelers create unforgettable memories, and thrives in a fun, fast-paced tourism environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service
• Sell tour tickets and assist with booking for Rugosa Lobster Tours & New England Eco Adventures
• Check guests in, answer questions, and ensure a smooth start to every tour
• Sell Maine-made merchandise and keep retail displays looking great
• Answer phones, manage inquiries, and assist with reservations
• Use computer-based systems for scheduling, point-of-sale, and guest communication
• Help maintain a clean, welcoming, organized retail space
• Work collaboratively with captains, crew, and your retail teammates

Requirements

• A friendly, outgoing personality with a love for customer service
• Strong computer skills and willingness to learn booking systems
• Professional, reliable, and able to manage busy days with ease
• Excellent communication skills—both in person and on the phone
• Comfort working independently and within a team

Qualifications

• Prior retail or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required

Pay

$15-$18 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

One weekend day required + 2–3 weekdays, 10am to 5pm, most days
