Customer Service Representative (Seasonal)

About the role

Allied Services Group (ASG) is growing and we are looking for Customer Service/Verification Representatives to join our dynamic team. Allied Services Group provides customer support services to a rapidly growing technology-driven insurance sales organization. Position: Part Time (Possible Full-Time Transition). Dress code: Business Casual, Casual Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and assist customers with questions and requests.
• Provide professional and efficient customer service.
• Verify customer information and confirm plan selections.
• Read and document required medical and eligibility-related questions.
• Schedule and process premium payments.
• Accurately document customer interactions in CRM and enrollment systems.
• Facilitate health insurance policy enrollments.
• Follow company and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain an 85% or higher score on quality and compliance evaluations.

• Accurate documentation skills
• Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented and reliable
• Comfortable using technology and learning new systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to learn health insurance terminology and processes
• Prior customer service or call center experience preferred

Pay

Starting pay: $17.25 per hour. There are plenty of opportunities for advancement during and past the 3‑month probationary period.

Schedule

Office located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Shifts are on‑site; during the open enrollment period (November to January) extended hours and possible weekend shifts may be required.
