Customer Service Representative Nights and Weekends

About the role

Responsible for new member sales and creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.

Reports to: Club Manager. Status: Full Time/Part Time, Non‑Supervisor, Non‑Exempt.

Responsibilities

• Greet and meet potential members, providing a great customer experience.
• Handle front‑desk tasks, including answering phone calls politely, assisting with questions or concerns, taking informational calls, and conducting tours.
• Assist in member check‑ins, sign‑ups, cancellations, BCM amenity usage, and updating member account information.
• Facilitate member service issues and questions, forwarding them to the Club Manager, Manager in Training, or Team Lead as needed.
• Help maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
• Communicate and interact with customers, coworkers, and the public in a way that exceeds expectations.
• Actively listen, empathize, and collaborate to solve problems.
• Recognize and define problems, analyze information, propose alternative solutions, and seek assistance when necessary.
• Demonstrate tact and appropriate language in all interactions.
• Communicate questions, concerns, or issues to a supervisor in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Honesty and strong work ethic.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Physical demands: standing and walking at least 75% of the shift; talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift; ability to lift up to 50 lb (less than 30% of the time).
