Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for customers by providing information, resolving inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This position supports sales, operations, and administrative functions by maintaining customer relationships, communicating effectively, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer requests.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Customer Support
    • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person communication.
    • Provide product, service, pricing, and order information.
    • Resolve customer concerns, complaints, and service issues professionally and promptly.
    • Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
    • Maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Order Processing
    • Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
    • Verify order details, pricing, inventory availability, and delivery requirements.
    • Cook with production, warehouse, shipping, and sales teams regarding order status.
    • Monitor open orders and communicate updates to customers.
  • Administrative Support
    • Maintain customer records and account information in company systems.
    • Generate quotes, invoices, and related documentation as required.
    • File and organize customer correspondence and records.
    • Assist with data entry and reporting activities.
  • Communication & Coordination
    • Work closely with sales, operations, production, and accounting teams.
    • Communicate customer requirements and expectations to internal departments.
    • Follow up on customer requests and ensure timely resolution.
    • Support customer retention efforts through excellent service.
  • Compliance & Quality
    • Follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
    • Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
    • Ensure accuracy of all customer-related transactions and documentation.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer calls and emails.
  • Process customer orders and inquiries.
  • Provide order status updates.
  • Enter and update customer information in company systems.
  • Cook with internal departments regarding customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Weekly Responsibilities

  • Review open orders and outstanding customer requests.
  • Follow up on delayed shipments or unresolved issues.
  • Assist with customer account maintenance.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Prepare customer service activity reports as required.

Schedule

Day shift
8 hours/day
Monday thru Friday
