The HVAC CSR/Inside Sales position at Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is available at our West Monroe, LA branch. This role involves selling the organization's products and services to both new and existing customers. Responsibilities include understanding and communicating the organization's policies, procedures, and products, collaborating with managers to enhance territory coverage, and providing excellent customer service through various channels.

Responsibilities

  • Handle customer needs by finding out their requirements, answering questions, and creating solutions.
  • Collaborate with Regional Manager or Branch Manager to drive territory coverage and maintain positive dealer relationships.
  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information.
  • Educate customers about product terminology, features, and benefits.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, sales, distribution, and vendors regarding shipments.
  • Coordinate problem resolution with appropriate departments.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports on sales activities.
  • Expand knowledge of HVAC products and stay updated with industry trends.
  • Work positively with all levels of management and peers to ensure effective teamwork.

Requirements

  • Some knowledge of HVAC equipment/products.
  • General Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Working knowledge of data base applications.
  • Effective and high-quality Customer Service/Relationship management skills.
  • Positive, professional attitude, handling difficult customers with ability to diffuse negative situations.
  • Good phone and e-mail etiquette.
  • Ability to deal with high-volume customer traffic.
  • Able to establish positive working relationships with internal and external customers and employees.
  • Understand and follow procedures, work instructions, and company policies.

Qualifications

  • 3 – 6 years of progressive sales experience.
  • 3 plus years in the HVAC industry.
