Customer Service Representative I (Kailua Branch)

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to bank customers both inside and outside the branch.
• Promote the Bank’s products and services, including informing customers about benefits and features.
• Act as an initial point of contact for referrals to personal bankers and specialized areas of the bank, such as consumer and commercial loans, credit cards, etc.
• Project a professional image and appearance as a representative of the Bank.

Qualifications

• Absorbed an Associates degree in business or equivalent work skills.
• Mandatory completion of FHB CSR School upon acceptance into the position.
• Minimum of 2 years as a commercial savings teller in a financial institution (within FHB, minimum two years teller/clerk teller experience) or two years in a retail sales environment selling products and services.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills to perform sales presentations to individuals and groups.
• Ability to use judgement and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information.
• PC skills in word processing are required.
• Must be able to type at a speed of 35 words per minute (wpm).

Compensation

The pay range for the role is $19.00 - $22.50 per hour, commensurate with experience; plus sales incentives.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM; Saturday on a rotation basis 8:30AM - 1:30PM (hours may vary).
