Responsibilities

  • Aid in customer inquiries regarding freight pickup requests, rate quotes, freight charges, hot shipments, shipment tracing, and appointments or special requests.
  • Take and deliver messages for the Service Center Manager and Account Managers.
  • Provide assistance to Drivers, including preparing bills of lading and delivery receipts.
  • Maintain excellent communication with external and internal customers as well as interline companies.
  • May assist with payroll data entry, freight reports, driver collection reports, billing, and filling.

Qualifications

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent keyboarding skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
