Customer Service Representative - Filtration Products - Delhi, OH

We provide customers with products and value-added solutions within Fluid Power, Fluid Process, Fluid Conveyance, Automation, General Industrial Components, and Industrial Repair. We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Delhi, OH. In this role, you will work closely with customers, outside sales associates and manufacturers/suppliers. You’ll be supporting the sales process and providing outstanding customer service for Filtration products. You’ll respond to inquiries by accurately and efficiently processing requests from both customers and the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone, email and customer portals
- Prepare accurate customer quotations, including pricing, discounts and shipping charges in accordance with company guidelines
- Enter customer orders in company ERP system with a high level of accuracy
- Monitor and expedite customer orders to help meet required and promised delivery dates
- Follow-up on quotes and make outbound calls to support sales growth and customer relationships
- Identify areas to up-sell and cross-sell products and solutions based on customer needs
- Attend meeting or educational activities to stay up to date on the latest developments with the products and more
Preferred Education and Experience
- 3+ years of customer service or inside sales experience in filtration, industrial distribution or a related industry
- Proficient with Microsoft office, as well as email and other business software, with Trend ERP experience a plus
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Sound judgement and decision-making skills
