Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound calls involving claims status, eligibility, and benefit information.
  • Take both Member and Provider calls.
  • Trained on the Avaya system.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
  • High school/GED required.
  • Customer service experience preferred, especially in a health insurance call center setting.
  • Empathy and the ability to control conversations/calls are essential.
  • Attendance is critical; missing three days of training could result in immediate termination.
  • Must be able to work any shift between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
  • Open to working the 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM shift, which is a daily shift.
  • Professional behavior, on-camera training, and adherence to the current Work from Home policy are required.
  • Smoking of any type is not permitted during the class or on the phones.
