Responsibilities
- Receive inbound calls involving claims status, eligibility, and benefit information.
- Take both Member and Provider calls.
- Trained on the Avaya system.
Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
- High school/GED required.
- Customer service experience preferred, especially in a health insurance call center setting.
- Empathy and the ability to control conversations/calls are essential.
- Attendance is critical; missing three days of training could result in immediate termination.
- Must be able to work any shift between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
- Open to working the 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM shift, which is a daily shift.
- Professional behavior, on-camera training, and adherence to the current Work from Home policy are required.
- Smoking of any type is not permitted during the class or on the phones.
