About the role
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) position offers an opportunity to help customers access financial solutions and build lasting relationships. This entry-level role provides hands-on training, coaching, and development to support long-term success.
Responsibilities
- Connect with customers to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business.
- Process transactions accurately, including check cashing, money transfers, and customer payments.
- Offer personalized financial services tailored to each customer's lifestyle.
- Enter and maintain customer information with precision into a Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Complete daily call campaigns to build new business.
- Manage customer accounts and collections, including accepting payments and scheduling appointments.
- Perform duties outside the office, such as conducting vehicle appraisals, running errands, and participating in external marketing events.
- Engage in in-store and community events to enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain the store's appearance and adhere to cleanliness standards.
- Conduct opening and closing procedures, including managing vaults and cash drawers.
- Comply with Company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on product and process changes.
- Work efficiently in a dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attend regular work hours, including weekends, as part of a full-time schedule.
Qualifications and Skills
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a professional demeanor.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to accurately enter data.
- Proficiency in using phones, POS systems, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
- At least 18 years old (19 in Alabama).
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle for use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
Nice to Haves
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, and/or money order processing.
- Prior cash handling and cash drawer/vault management experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus and may be required for certain locations.
