Customer Service Representative

About the role

At Veterans Guardian, you'll play a critical role in helping veterans pursue the disability benefits they've earned through their service. As the primary point of contact for veterans throughout their journey, you'll build relationships, coordinate communication, manage documentation, and ensure every veteran continues moving through the process with confidence. This is a relationship-driven role where your organization, communication, and attention to detail directly impact the experience of the veterans we serve.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for current veterans throughout their claims process
• Manage inbound phone calls and respond to veteran questions with professionalism and empathy
• Provide monthly check-ins and proactive updates to ensure veterans always know what comes next
• Maintain detailed client records and communication notes in Salesforce
• Process and organize documentation to keep files accurate and complete
• Coordinate appointments and communication across multiple departments
• Monitor your assigned workload to ensure veterans continue progressing through the process
• Deliver an exceptional client experience through every interaction

Qualifications

• Customer service, client success, hospitality, healthcare, banking, retail leadership, office administration, or call center experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new technology
• Salesforce or CRM experience is a plus
• Military experience or familiarity with veterans is appreciated but not required
