We’re hiring a Customer Service Representative (Hospice) – a detail-oriented and empathetic professional who manages patient intake processes, builds positive relationships with referral sources, and ensures smooth coordination of admissions. This role is essential to supporting patients, families, and our hospice team with exceptional service and organizational excellence. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the patient intake process, including establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources
- Respond promptly to customer requests and concerns
- Verify insurance coverage and manage authorization processes
- Schedule appropriate staff to meet with patients/families to discuss hospice services
- Overcome initial objections to hospice services with compassion and professionalism
- Coordinate hospital discharges and admissions
