Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a busy customer contact environment within the gaming industry in Jersey City, New Jersey. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, stays composed under pressure, and enjoys helping customers with orders and account-related questions. The role focuses on delivering attentive service across inbound and outbound interactions while ensuring accurate information is captured and resolved efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of incoming customer calls and provide timely, courteous support for service-related inquiries.
• Place outbound calls as needed to follow up on customer requests, confirm details, or provide updates on open issues.
• Enter and update customer orders accurately in internal systems while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Resolve routine concerns by gathering information, identifying customer needs, and offering appropriate solutions.
• Document call activity, order details, and service outcomes thoroughly to maintain complete records.
• Escalate complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate team when issues require additional review or action.
• Maintain service quality standards by communicating clearly and ensuring each interaction reflects a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a call center or customer-facing support role.
• Strong ability to manage inbound and outbound phone conversations with careful attention to detail.
• Experience with order entry and maintaining accurate customer information.
• Clear verbal communication skills and a customer-first approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and comfort navigating multiple systems during customer interactions.
