Responsibilities
- Receive a high volume of inbound calls and emails
- Manage existing account relationships through regular, daily communication and interaction with other team members
- Data entry for order processing
- Work closely with various departments to manage product/rental availability and service lead times
- Identify the reason for the customer’s call, collect relevant information, and provide solutions
- Assist with development of new business opportunities and customers
- Use best practices in customer service techniques to develop rapport and build relationships with customers
- Daily quote and order follow up with vendors and customers by phone or via email
- Assist with coordination of and occasionally attend trade shows
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous experience in distribution/technical sales or non-destructive sales in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Excel or Word
- Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and self manage
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
