Responsibilities

  • Receive a high volume of inbound calls and emails
  • Manage existing account relationships through regular, daily communication and interaction with other team members
  • Data entry for order processing
  • Work closely with various departments to manage product/rental availability and service lead times
  • Identify the reason for the customer’s call, collect relevant information, and provide solutions
  • Assist with development of new business opportunities and customers
  • Use best practices in customer service techniques to develop rapport and build relationships with customers
  • Daily quote and order follow up with vendors and customers by phone or via email
  • Assist with coordination of and occasionally attend trade shows

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Previous experience in distribution/technical sales or non-destructive sales in a similar role is preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Excel or Word
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and self manage
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
