Responsibilities
- Receive incoming calls and/or messages from customers and assist each customer from beginning to solution.
- Communicate effectively and clearly.
- Serve as customer advocate by solving problems and engaging the appropriate departments and people within the organization as needed.
- Utilize authorized systems to gather information, provide information, and update customer records.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with all employees, co-workers, and management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills.
- Computer skills - Navigation, MS Office, Typing, Multi-Screen system.
- Professional and polite phone etiquette.
- Able to multi-task.
- Able to react well under pressure.
- Focused on solving conflicts and listening to others without interrupting.
- Able to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly and appropriately to meet company standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of prior work experience handling customer service via telephone.
Qualifications
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
- Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and training.
- Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
Work Environment
- Office environment.
- Prolonged sitting and repetitive motions performed answering phone and working on computer.
