Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming calls and/or messages from customers and assist each customer from beginning to solution.
  • Communicate effectively and clearly.
  • Serve as customer advocate by solving problems and engaging the appropriate departments and people within the organization as needed.
  • Utilize authorized systems to gather information, provide information, and update customer records.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with all employees, co-workers, and management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills.
  • Computer skills - Navigation, MS Office, Typing, Multi-Screen system.
  • Professional and polite phone etiquette.
  • Able to multi-task.
  • Able to react well under pressure.
  • Focused on solving conflicts and listening to others without interrupting.
  • Able to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly and appropriately to meet company standards.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of prior work experience handling customer service via telephone.

Qualifications

  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and training.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

Work Environment

  • Office environment.
  • Prolonged sitting and repetitive motions performed answering phone and working on computer.
