Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Answer phones to either direct callers to the proper department or to answer any questions they may have.
• Finalize orders, take payments, and schedule deliveries and pickups.
• Process returns and process initial paperwork for warranty claims.
• Make changes and cancellations to orders when appropriate.
• Update customers on changes to their order status.
• Process finance applications.
• Serve as a support for showroom Sales Consultants by assisting with questions and processing orders as needed.
• Process sales for accessories and other small purchases.
• Occasionally work the sales floor following HOM Furniture’s proven sales methods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: Must be working toward or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience: Six months of customer service experience preferred.
• Physical Demands: Low physical demands required. The employee is regularly required to sit for sustained periods of time and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Other: Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Reasonable accommodation will be made for those who require it.
